CEO Magazine’s 2026 Global MBA Rankings are now live; our largest benchmarking cycle to date, encompassing more than 340 programmes across 24 countries.
This year’s results reflect a market that is differentiated by format, geography, and institutional positioning.
Full-Time & Part-Time MBA
The traditional MBA formats continue to be anchored by established US and UK institutions, with sustained participation from continental Europe and Australia. The breadth of Tier One institutions, spanning private schools, state universities, and international public providers, reinforces the continued relevance of structured performance metrics over reputation alone.
Online MBA
Online provision remains participation-heavy in the United States, while Australia continues to demonstrate notable depth relative to population size. European representation remains concentrated among internationally active providers. At the top end, stability persists; movement is more visible further down the table.
Executive MBA
The EMBA table shows continued structural strength from European institutions, with meaningful participation from North America and Latin America. Year-on-year disruption at the very top remains limited, reflecting the maturity of executive formats and the durability of established providers.
Across all three tables, the picture is not one of convergence, but differentiation, with each format revealing a distinct competitive landscape.
Further analysis of format-specific signals will follow in our upcoming intelligence update.
