College Choice Releases its 2016 Rankings for the Best Online Masters in Human Resources Degrees

College Choice, a leading authority in college and university rankings and resources, has published its 2016 rankings for the Best Online Masters in Human Resources Degrees.

Human resource is a growing field, one that continues to demand more and more specialization from its professionals. This has created a need for a master’s degree in human resources that can fit into a busy student’s life. And the best way to get a graduate degree while working continues to be online education. Christian Amondson, Managing Editor of College Choice, was asked about the importance of a graduate human resources degree and he replied: “Whether you want a focused Human Resources Management Degree or a general HR degree, becoming a Human Resources major is the doorway into a fulfilling career of helping others in the workplace. According to The Occupational Outlook Handbook in 2015, the median pay for a person with a Human Resource Management Degree was over $104,000.”

Various factors played a role in deciding which schools would be ranked for the Best Online Masters in Human Resources Degrees 2016 ranking from College Choice. These included program options and concentrations, the school’s online portal features, overall costs for obtaining an online education, student satisfaction, and gainful employment after graduation. This information was researched using the schools’ websites and independent statistical institutions.

The College Choice 2016 ranking for Best Online Masters in Human Resources Degrees was topped by Pennsylvania State University. Villanova University and Colorado State University rounded out the top three spots.
