Headstart Launches #StartupSaturday in Gurugram With IILM University as Knowledge Partner

India’s largest grassroots level organization for start-ups, Headstart, has launched #StartupSaturday, its flagship event in Gurugram with IILM University as Knowledge Partner. #StartupSaturday, one of India’s most popular start-up events, holds talks, panel discussions, fireside chats and similar events to inspire aspiring and early-stage entrepreneurs. In fact, it has organized over 1,000 start-up events focused on networking, mentoring, hiring and fundraising and is active in 23 cities.

IILM has, since its inception, fostered a climate of entrepreneurship, preparing and motivating budding entrepreneurs to take their entrepreneurial journey forward right from the creation, inception and management of their entrepreneurial venture. The Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation at IILM University focuses on personalized mentoring, interaction with domain experts, networking, simulations, live projects with companies, workshops, events and conferences.

On #StartupSaturday (August 25) IILM University played host to more than 100 entrepreneurs who attended the Headstart event which was themed around the ‘Basics of Entrepreneurship‘. Eminent speakers at the event included Abhishek Mohan (Vice President, Sequioa), Amit Ramani (Founder & CEO, Awfis Space Solutions), Shailendra Ahuja (Director, Aviant Capital Advisors), Aditya Dev Sood (Founder, Startereum), Vinayak Mishra, Principal Associate (Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co.) and Jasveer Singh (Founder & CEO, Qik Rooms (Forbes 30 under 30)), who shared many tips on how to have a successful entrepreneurship venture.
