Programme Profile
The Lagos Business School MBA is designed to equip participants with a thorough knowledge of core business disciplines, analytical competencies, and problem-solving capabilities. Our robust curriculum enables our MBA students to become extremely knowledgeable about global business with particular emphasis paid to the intricacies of doing business in Africa. Leadership skills, negotiation skills and an ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, are some of the invaluable skills built into the programme.
We also offer the Executive MBA and Modular Executive MBA which are more flexible variants for working business executives and senior managers respectively.
Duration
The MBA programme is 18 months in duration with 15 months of in-class study, and a minimum of 72 (credit) hours of coursework in order to complete the programme successfully. There will be three semesters in total: two semesters in the first academic year, one semester in the final year. The last semester is an elective semester and students can choose to participate in a student exchange programme with our partner schools abroad or offer electives locally.
Entry Requirements
Applicants interested in Lagos Business School’s Full-Time MBA are required to provide the following:
- At least five credit passes, including English and Mathematics at O’ Level
- Minimum of a second-class lower degree from an accredited university
- A good GMAT or GRE score
- At least three years post-qualification work experience
Students will be expected to complete the programme’s requisite application form, provide official copies of transcripts from all institutions attended, and furnish official GMAT or GRE scores. Before consideration for admission, applicants must typically take either the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). When taking the GMAT, the name of the programme must be specified (e.g., MBA). The GMAT identification code for the Lagos Business School MBA is 8NM– K2 – 36 while the GRE code is 1744 Pan-Atlantic University Lagos Business School.

Delivery Format
The programme consists of a rigorous and highly structured first year with an emphasis on the functional areas of management. The second year is more diversified with electives. A corporate internship is required between the first and second year of study.
The programme is full-time and runs for about 18 calendar months. The first year is equivalent to 36 weeks of lectures spread over two semesters and the second year is two semesters of 18 weeks. Classes hold from 8.00am to 3.30pm daily, Monday through Friday.
Programme Cost
The Full-Time MBA currently costs $8,215 per session, and we run two sessions. Fees cover tuition and course materials and can be paid in three installments at the beginning of each semester.

LBS is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) - the highest standard of excellence since 1916, providing quality assurance and business education intelligence to business schools globally.
We are also accredited by the Association of MBAs (AMBAs) - a global standard for MBA, DBA, and Master's degrees.
Lagos Business School is a member of the Global Network for Advanced Management (GNAM), which includes 32 leading business schools from different countries, the Association of African Business Schools (AABS), as well as the Global Business School Network (GBSN), a network which improves access to quality management education.

Application Deadlines and Start Dates
Application is still open for the 2018/2019 intake. Full-time MBA classes are scheduled to start on September 3, 2018, while Executive MBA classes will start in January, 2019.

Faculty Profile
Our faculty is made up of academics and industry leaders. Many of our faculty members hold impressive academic credentials and strong industry backgrounds and include advisors to government and regulators. We have amongst our faculty editors of journals, visiting professors from leading business schools, members and fellows of professional bodies, and well-recognised authors. A good number consult for Nigerian and continental organisations. In addition to teaching on their core discipline, they integrate ethics across all functional management areas.
Lagos Business School faculty have the largest case collection in Africa, and many of these cases have won global and continental awards.
