After IBM recently acquired Cleversafe for an undisclosed sum, founders from Cleversafe have created a new software company in Chicago with plans to ultimately hire hundreds of local employees. The new company, Ocient (pronounced oh-see-ent,) is extremely well funded and actively hiring C++ developers.

“Our last software company created over $1B in wealth for employees and investors, minted over 80 new millionaires, generated over 300 granted patents, and revolutionized the way the world’s largest data sets are stored,” said Chris Gladwin, Cleversafe’s original Founder and now Ocient’s Co-founder and CEO. “Our new software company, Ocient, is addressing an even larger market opportunity.  If you are a bright C++ developer anywhere near Chicago and want to tackle some of the most complex software problems on the planet, you’ll want to be a part of this.”

Ocient is located at Madison and Wacker in downtown Chicago, and is offering game-changing roles and equity stakes to the best C++ developers in the world.  The company has not yet made public its product plans. Highly qualified applicants should email a resume and cover letter to:   recruiting@ocient.com.
