EU Business School Awarded E-Magister’s Prestigious ‘Sello Cum Laude’ For Outstanding Recommendations From Students

MBA Blog / 2nd March 2018

EU Business School (EU) has been presented with the prestigious Sello Cum Laude award by Spain’s leading education and training platform, E-Magister.

Based on a peer-to-peer review system which allows graduates and former students to assess individual programs and offer a rating out of five stars, E-Magister’s Sello Cum Laude serves as a guide for those who are looking for further education and training. It guarantees the quality and trustworthiness of each institution that has earned the award, and enables students to choose with confidence their ideal school and program of study.

To be eligible to receive the Sello Cum Laude, an institution must receive a minimum of 50 reviews within 12 months, achieving an average rating of at least three and a half stars. In 2017, over 150 students left outstanding recommendations for EU Business School, resulting in an overall four out of five-star rating across all programs at foundation, bachelor’s and master’s level.

EU’s quality in education is further demonstrated by the number of individual programs that received excellent reviews. At master’s level, both the MBA in Sports Management and the MBA in Global Banking & Finance earned a maximum five out of five-star rating. EU’s Bachelor of Arts in Business & Design Management also stood out with a five out of five-star score.

Raquel Valero, Country Manager for Spain at E-Magister, presented the award to EU Business School’s Communications Director, Claire Basterfield, and Head of Media Relations, Michael Leafe.

Following the presentation at their new Diagonal campus building in Barcelona, EU Business School’s Vice President and Managing Director, Carl Craen, said: “We are delighted to have received this special distinction from E-Magister. Peer-to-peer recommendations are vital in ensuring that future students are able to make an informed decision about where to study. The outstanding reviews that we received from our alumni are a tribute to the success of our innovative, experiential education model.”
