EU Business School Students and Alumni to Connect with Global Sports Organisations at the Prestigious IWorkinSport Job Fair

• EU Business School is one of just five schools invited to attend the second edition of the international iWorkinSport career fair, which focuses solely on sport.
• 15 leading sports organisations will be present at the fair to recruit for internships and permanent job positions.

EU Business School (EU) is delighted to announce that it has been selected as one of only five educational institutions to attend the renowned iWorkinSport Job Fair. As part of its continued partnership, students from EU will attend this premium event to take place at the SwissTech Convention Center in Lausanne, Switzerland, on Friday, May 18.

The iWorkinSport Job Fair debuted in 2017 as the very first international careers fair to focus exclusively on the sports industry. Providing a platform for leading sports organisations to meet, interview and recruit students from leading schools and universities in Europe, the first edition was a resounding success with 100 percent of recruiters describing the fair as ‘excellent’ or ‘good’, and 50 percent stating that it exceeded their expectations.

At this year’s edition, 15 world-class organisations and companies will be in attendance. These include FIFA, UEFA, Adidas, Infront, International Olympic Committee, NBA, Team Marketing, IMG, PWC, FEI, Quatar 2022 and Nielson Sports, among others.

It is no surprise that Lausanne in Switzerland has been selected to host this unique and prestigious event. As Olympic capital of the world, home to the International Olympic Committee and the location of 50 leading sports company headquarters, Lausanne provides the perfect backdrop to bring together students and professionals passionate about sport and the sports industry.

EU Business School has been allocated 40 places for students and alumni from its campuses in Barcelona, Geneva, Montreux, Munich and online. The selected students from EU will have the chance to apply for internships and job positions prior to the event on its website. From the applications received, recruiters will select candidates they wish to interview at the career fair. Each interview will last approximately 20 minutes.

In addition to interviews, iWorkinSport has also organised an array of parallel activities, including presentations, talks and workshops for students to take part in. Career guidance will also be given through CV reviews, a LinkedIn workshop and salary benchmarking within the industry. There will also be plenty of opportunities for participants to connect with representatives and influential figures from these renowned sports organizations.
